B. J. Duke, “Fox & Crow Studio”, has been making pottery all of her life. She spent 20 years as a product developer in the ceramic gift industry and is currently living in the “open skies” of the Mojave Desert in her one-woman studio with the outstanding companionship of an overweight Chihuahua. B. J.’s influences are the colors of the desert at sunset, animals, birds, rocks, rusty desert junk. “in the desert there is nothing and there is everything” Balzac www.foxandcrowstudio.com

Annah Sprowl-Rigney is a California native. In the early 70’s she decided to go beyond pencil and pen and ink drawings to learning to oil paint. After a few disasters she found an artist/teacher that she admired and was taught the fundamentals of painting. In a few years Annah found her own style. From the mid 70’s to late 80’s she did art tours in California and Arizona; during this time was fortunate enough to obtain quite a few blue ribbons at art shows, museums and Indio Date Festival. In 1984 she became very intrigued in stained glass, so added that to her painting skills. She moved to Idaho in the 90’s and did commission works in oil painting and stained glass. She moved back to California in 2003 and continued on as a dealer and commissioned work in painting and stained glass. Currently residing in 29 Palms and has a space at Pioneer Crossing Antiques as a dealer and artist.

Jim's leaded glass crosses and cacti on funky bottles are a whimsey and delight. He has been with Pioneer Crossing for 4 years.

Sandy's glass art is actually sculptured-leaded-glass art. The surface of each piece undulates in and out to creating a bas-relief effect. The pieces are not made from commercially available stained glass, but instead are broken discarded depression glass fabricated into a pleasing mosaic each different and unique. His studio is Ear of the Wind http://earofthewind.com/home. Below is a window made from "end of the day" glass, slag glass from factory glass production.
