Larry has been with Pioneer Crossing from the beginning. He has been selling antiques since the 1970’s. He had a shop in Pasadena in the 1980’s, and also sold at Pasadena College Antique Flea Market. He specializes in Victoriana, glassware, pottery, artworks, fine and costume jewelry. Larry is also an avid reader, so weather you want to find a good book to read, or a fine antique first addition for your collection, check out Larry’s book nook.

Sue Kelly is not new to antiques, for several years “The Silk Purse” was one of the only antique stores in Twenty Nine Palms. However, her real love is the stage. She is a veteran of Broadway and recently she has dazzled the desert with her unique style and grand ability to project her voice and personality in local theater performances. Sue brought her distinctive “Silk Purse” style to Pioneer Crossing in 2002. Sue specializes in Shabby Chic, pretty china, linens, glass, old family photos and other items with a “feminine flavor.”

Proprietor: Kent Sandy Larsen
The “Sows Ear” is everything the “The Silk Purse” is not. You can expect things to be a bit rougher around the edges and not many items with a “feminine flavor”. Sandy specializes in California plein aire art, art pottery, glassware, and folk art when he finds it, but he always has a good assortment of “crusty desert rat” stuff. Sandy has been with Pioneer Crossing since the beginning, and resides in the same store-space he had more than ten years ago. Sandy is an artist, and is featured on our Pioneer Studios page.

Proprietress: Paula Kelly
Selling an eclectic mix of western kitsch, cabin art, collectibles, Mexican silver, and vintage jewelry. Paula lives in Pasadena and commutes a great distance in order to be part of Pioneer Crossing. She has been with Pioneer Crossing since 2005.

Proprietor: Patty
“Art; Pots; Mexican décor; and vintage linens." Patti joined Pioneer Crossing in 2007.
